FAQ's

Hiring a VA gives you flexible support without the fixed costs and commitments associated with paying an employee, such as holiday pay, sick pay, pension, training, etc. A VA works out considerably much cheaper!

Yes, I have a minimum commitment of just 2 hours per month

Unused hours can't be rolled over - I allocate those set hours to work on your business, which means I'm not working on someone else's business.

Then I'm afraid,  it is an employee that you need. Virtual Assistants work, erm.... virtually!

I'm available Monday - Friday 9.30am-2.30pm. I don't work over the weekends, as that's when I'm at my caravan (G&T in hand!) but I will pick up any emails that come through.

I will always aim to reply to emails within a few hours, but you must give at least 24 hours notice for any tasks you'd like me to take on.

Always by email. Having too many communication methods gets messy and complicated and running a business is hard enough. Plus, I don't do phone calls, as things can be miscommunicated, and a 5-minute call never lasts 5 minutes and time is money!

Ad-hoc work is invoiced as and when and payment must be received before any tasks are started.

If you have a package, or retainer hours, invoices are sent on the 26th of each month for payment in advance for the following month.

Payment is by BACS.

I am based in Wigan, Greater Manchester (but I'm old and still say we're in Lancashire, because we are!) and cover the UK.
